Antique Ford Tractors
Tractors For SaleThe iconic Ford Tractor line is a symbol of early American agricultural history. Founded by Henry Ford and Son, the "Fordson" line of tractors were produced from 1917 to 1964. Its very first inception, the Ford Model B, was a prototype tractor released in 1915. The Dearborn, Michigan company went on to produce the Fordson Model F two years later in 1917, which became the first mass-produced tractor in the world. This was a great time period for Ford tractors, as it enjoyed a majority stake in the tractor market, as most farmers were finally able to afford a quality tractor that was widely available. 1928 became the final year for Fordson tractors, due to an economic recession. Although iconic, Ford tractors were not exactly known for their reliability - including reports of flip-overs, wheel slippage and other issues. Today, these early antique Ford tractors are amongst the rarest finds in the antique tractor market -- prized possessions for being a memory of the agricultural market's earliest beginnings.
