Antique Farmall Tractors for Sale
Tractors For SaleA staple in tractor history: manufacturer Farmall (whose brand name has been on by the Case company) innovated the classic narrow front wheel, or "tricycle," family of row-crop tractor designs. Farmall tractors were innovated by the famed International Harvester line of tractors, and were first developed in the early 1920s. Farmall tractors were first sold only in Texas - a test market to see if the "tricycle" design would be a success, or a flop. Due to success, Farmall tractors underwent production in Illinois, eventually producing the more powerful F-20 model. The Farmall tractor line began being named by letters in 1939, starting with the A model, and ending with the MD. The F-series Farmall tractors were incepted in 1931, and took on the iconic red color that became synonymous with the Farmall tractor brand. In the 1950s, Farmall tractors were designated by numbers. Today, nothing is more impressive and awe-inspiring than a restored antique Farmall tractor: favorites include the Farmall BN, C and model H.
